Thankyou for accessing our website. We hope you will be blessed as you explore our life and expression of church together.  Why are we called this? We are a Fellowship (community) of ordinary folks from Hemsworth, a former mining town in West Yorkshire, who have been brought together by having experienced the real love of God as loving Father in our lives. We have discovered that the only way to a genuine relationship with God as Father is through faith in Jesus Christ - hence we are Christians.
'The Springs' is the shortened version of 'The Springs' Life Resource Centre' which was the name given to the building when it began to open the doors everyday for community activities.  

'Touching Heaven - Changing Earth' is our motto and sums up what we aim to do. From the strength, love and resources that our relationship with God gives us, we want to be people who share this goodness with the people in our town, meeting needs wherever we can, hoping to make the life experience better in small or large ways for the community of Hemsworth.
