Southmoor Lunch Club

The Lunch Club meets on the first Monday of each month at 'The Springs'. It is an informal time of meeting with others to relax, make new friends, enjoy good food and take part in activities and outings to places like Beamish, Durham, Southport, Bridlington, and opportunity for a short break each spring. 

'Friend 4 You'             

Is a new service which seeks to provide safe friendship and support to people who may feel isolated and alone.
Sometimes family live far away and friends are busy with their own lives. There are also seasons of loss which come to us all.
Whatever the reason, as humans, having a trusted someone there can make all the difference.

'Friend 4 You' befrienders are all trained in personal helping skills such as:

•    Listening and Responding
     Loss and Change
     Ageing and Ageism

Also befrienders will have undergone security checks to ensure your safety.
