Thankyou for accessing our website. We hope you will be blessed as you explore our life and expression of church together.  People often ask us..."What sort of church are you?"
I struggle to answer that, as we don't particularly fit into any 'normal' church mould, and I don't like labels anyway. You really have to come along one Sunday and see if you enjoy it, and feel 'at home' with us. We're not everyone's cup of tea and we're ok with that!
You won't find long sermons telling you how bad you are and how you need to change to please God. You won't find constant appeals for money, or pressure to perform or conform in any way. You give if you want, you participate if you want. You don't have to sign up to a certain belief system to be welcome or acceptable. You will find many of us have slightly different beliefs about God and differing interpretations of the Bible. That's OK. We're all learning and growing!
We probably all agree that we are deeply loved by God, and that Jesus showed us this by his life,  death and resurrection.
You will find modern hymns and songs and you can sing along or just listen. You will hear people sharing their lives, spiritual experiences and thoughts. You will have the chance to share your own thoughts, ideas and inspirations if you so wish, because your voice is as valuable as anyone else's! You will find time to reflect and meditate on what has been shared. Hopefully you will find the love, peace, and joy of God's presence. You will certainly find plenty of coffee!

'Touching Heaven - Changing Earth' is our motto and sums up what we aim to do. From the strength, love and resources that our relationship with God gives us, we want to be people who share this goodness with the people in our town, meeting needs wherever we can, hoping to make the life experience better in small or large ways for the community of Hemsworth. We can't do this ourselves alone, so we partner with some amazing local groups, charities and individuals who are all working together with the same aim of making this little bit of the world a better place!
