About Us

Hemsworth Christian Fellowship seeks to demonstrate God's love in both spiritual and practical ways to the surrounding community. The desire to 'make a difference' gave birth to 'The Springs' Life Resource Project which you can read about elsewhere in the site. As a church, we are members of Partners in Harvest, a network of churches relating to Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship. We are also members of the Evangelical Alliance and the Ground Level network of churches.

We are committed to a life of discipleship as sons and daughters, seeking to lead lives inspired by the Holy Spirit, so that Jesus might be known in a powerful and relevant way in our community.

Intimacy - deep, abiding, cherishing closeness  with God such as the disciple John experienced. For us this is the heart of worship and the place of fruitfulness, not striving and performance.

Restoring - healing the hurts, shame, sins and mindsets that have been our experience in a fallen world, so becoming more like the person God originally intended us to be.

Extending the Kingdom of God - empowering people to discover their identity, destiny and calling as sons and daughters, and to walk in the love, power and authority that has been given to us as Spirit-filled children of God.

Our Senior Minister is called Jim Haley (standing). He is supported by a leadership team of 4, who are Elaine Haley (left), Joan Cameron, Jenny and Oliver Hall (seated)
